just came back from M-champ. quite rough today 'cos apparently Thaddeus (my teacher) didn't come. and some lady named Terenia taught us. so we had to "revise" whatever techniques we've learnt for the past 7 weeks 'cos there was a test the last 2 hours before we go home. super tired liao, then had to do some random test. but, it went quite well. im happy with myself. haha. did manage to remember what was taught. whoohoo! :)

i didn't really talk much about FBC this morning. hmm... so here it goes...
FISHBONE CAFE APRIL 2007 was a blast! haha! (i think i've said it already... but it was really GREAT! and it won't hurt to say alot more.) Though i was sick yesterday 'cos of firdays deadly fever, which i am glad i am still alive, i still came 'cos i knew it would be a fruitful time spent. and i guess it was. the WEBS and WEBBERS and SPIDERS were much more closer to the audience. yupp. i think FBC isn't only a time to interact with newcomers but also to catch up and follow-up with the other younger ones and the WEBS who you don't really see. mhmm... other than that, the drinks were great and so as the atmosphere. thanks to the rain, it wasn't that hot. yupp! hmm... 3 cheers for everyone? :) you guys did a great job please! from sound crew, to kitchen crew, to ushers, to waiters and waitresses, to games ic, to planners, to hospitality ic, to befriend, to children of God... 'cos you guys really showed the warmth of Jesus' love! i bet the newcomers felt the warm welcome by your service. :) (i know i did and i could still remember exactly one year ago...) :)

and i bet the seinor WG zone had a blast today la, eating pizzas and leaving crumbs behind for me! :( hahahaha! :P i can't wait for 2 MORE WEEKS! no more M-CHAMP! whooo!!! and then, i can FINALLY go for WG! yay.

you know, there is a point of time in life where we finally realise that we can change nobody but ourselves and to also know that everything will be alright 'cos they are in God's hands. and yeah. i have been saying, "taking steps of faith... bla-bla" but i realise, i have been worrying too much. and about changing ourselves... well, there's much more to learn for this. and i think it won't be an overnight lesson. instead, it's a lifelong lesson. the words understanding, feeling and knowing may seem to be minor, but they are the most deepest and strongest words you can ever use when someone is feeling upset or anything. 'cos you can never EVER feel how other people feel or understand 'cos you are you and i am me. and i guess, that is the most valueable lesson i ought to understand in this game of life. yup. and if you're reading this (you should know :)) i am really sorryfor the insensative words i've said 'cos i haven't cured from this "reactive" diseas yet. haha! but i hope everythings okay at your side. :)

i've got five minutes before i leave home for tuition...

Friday: fell really sick. think i really over-worked. had NAPHA test the previous day in the morning, and then in the afternoon went to stadium to practice my sprints. yupp. stubborn creature i am. tsktsk... anyways, the pain in my head was excruciating i tell you and it made me cry! there was this like super hard throbbing at the back of my head and piercing jabs at the sides. took the migraine pills thinking that it would work 'cos it "did" made me sleep, but no... i couldn't sleep at all! but i literally whine myself to sleep. you know the fever patch? it works wonders. i used that in the evening 'till the next morning and the fever was GONE! but the headaches were still there! :P

Saturday: FBC was G.R.E.A.T. although the people i invited didn't really make it, i wasn't that dissapointed 'cos opportunities don't come once. yupp! met david, erika, ding-dong, priss and mei at PS. had lunch. very random. then made our way back to church for breifing. every FBC it will rain. the rain will just pour without failure. yupp. but is comes to show that God reigns! (pun intended. hehheh) yupp. other than that, i think everyone did a great job. :) CHUNKY MONKEY is getting better and better after every FBC. yupp. and apparently, i have a very bad cough now.

Sunday: will post about it after tuition. yup! :)

had a "think-about-not-being-tired" day today.

didn't really feel good in the morning. 'cos apparently, had rehersals the day before and i am extremely exhausted. so this morning was sleeeepy... but did manage to do QT in the bus tho. :) taking the usual old-fashioned 187 bus have been a routine since the beginning of this year. it's been great. 'cos i manage to spend atleast 20-30 mins with God before school. really harpee!

todays lessons were superly boring. boring. boring. but OSGODBY IS STILL FUNNY LAH! he was telling the class a joke about mis-pronouncing consonants...
OSGODBY: you know, before a president beocomes a president there'll be elections... but Singaporeans pronounce these process as "(you know what...)"
... and again, i was the only one who laughed! damn embarrassing! that's the only interesting thing that happened today. weekly friday meetings with JonL was great as well. shared about stuff. (private?) heh.

had my NAPHA test today! the 5 items! everything went great except for pull-ups... manage to do only 5 pull-ups. darn! should have trained! but other than that, got an A for most of the stations. i can smell the GOLD award alreay. come to think of it, i miss NAPHA test. didn't take it for 2 years already due to some health problems. but thank God for His grace, that through it, i am healed! :D my 2.4km RUN will be next thursday. yupp! looking forward to it.

after school, went to IMM for some rehersals for tomorrows performance. yup! uberly tired now i tell you. hehheh...

JANICE: hey you. thanks for the advices. yup! i guess there are times when i need to shut-up, and let go! and also put my fullest trust in God. when there's a will, there's a way! :) and yeah. let's continue to encourage each other. yuppyupp! God bless you kid!

realised i haven't been posting for quite some time. hehheh.

well, the days passes by really quick nowadays. trip to Sentosa was just like yesterday... COAH is really missed. :) thanks God for the WG. really great to have these people in my life. don't know what to do without them. (by the way, thanks MARK for the wonderful time in Trailblazers. :))

i guess, these few months have been tremendously blessed! i really thank God for it 'cos, though im rather far away from Him, (trusting my guts more frequently than trusting Him) He still helped me through. but that doesn't mean i can continue to be this way. yup. i think it's a waking up call for me to realise that i really need to rely on God's strength and to re-assure myself that God is really the one in charge. and Galvs was right. tho we know everything will be in God's hands, God still wants us to pray. He wants us to know what we are really facing and how He can intervene. and i guess that's how He speaks to us. yup!

today. 24th STUDENTS' COUNCIL (METAMORPHOSIS) investiture! skipped lessons like, the whole day! heh. love the council alot! :D hmm... had to dance. and omg, it was the most embarrassing experience ever! i was in the FRONT! sheesh. but nvm, everyone got a good laugh. hehheh. had sports heats after that. took a cab to bukit gombak stadium and when i alighted, a girl was like, "syahir, they are waiting for you. it's your event on now". so the typical kancheong syahir went like... "OHSHIT!" and i ran to the reporting station. and i felt super cheated after that. it was just checking attendance. darn. then it rained. so everything was like... delayed! so, i got panicky for no apparent reason. yup.

so there i was... in lane 7. my heart was beating as though it was coming out anytime. i was like, "God, give me strength. give me strength. i am strong. i am fast." (was getting into state. hehheh!) then, when mr.chimny-chin-chin shot the gun, i started of quite well... then, there's this guy from the back, he was breathing like, SUPER FAST-LY! i couldn't concentrate on my own breathing! and i got a lil slow. the next "mile" went okay...until... the part where the track curved. the runners from tracks 1-4 ran past me! i got super kancheong (as usual) but then, i managed to outrun them, and got 4th. heh........ but my timing was okay. 1min 5sec. and i qualify to the finals. hurrr... yup! thank GOD! if not, all hard work all gone down the drain. anyways, i've got another heats next week. long jump. heh! all time favourite! wish me luck!

sorry for not updating my blog for the longest time. besides, i've got alot of things to do, like to study, study, study, study, train, run, eat, eat, eat, eat, eat, eat, eat, eat, eat, eat, eat, eat, eat, eat, eat, eat, eat, eat, eat, eat, study, study, study, crap, sleep and more study. yeah. boring huh. but i have no choice do i? HAHA!

well, the past weeks have been good and bad - mostly good. couldn't have been better and all thanks to God! my hair is going longerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! haha! yay!

last saturday was HECTIC! had training in the morning. more blisters, as usual. went to church for sec 1 WEB orientation. played frisbee and man it was fun. got really tired after that but me and david had to make our way to EXPO for the f.o.b concert. well, come to think of it, it was fun. the pre-show, sitting on the circular table, waiting for Joash, with Amanada and her friend, commenting about the emo's. HAHA! then, after the gig, went to Changi Airport to "chill". haha! well, anyways, thanks Joash and David for the night. heh. (sounds abit wrong... but heck.) sunday was tuition as per normal. whooo... can laugh 'till my shit come out. haha! tuition is like going for a comedy. i think we all laugh like 70% of the time. hehh...

this week was relatively good. had physics test on monday, which i thought i did super badly, but i was 1 of the 2 people in class who passed. haha! :D and chem results were given out as well... 9.5! whooo! but that's before moderation and total combined science. heh. but then again, i really thank God for pulling me through the tests! heh.

today, had house heats. ran 400m and got 1st! hahaha! yay! i found out that running is really fun! yeah! haha! well, sports day is like in a months time and i've got alot of training to do. gotta get Gold for my house! after school, boiled TANG YUANS and ate them all!!!!!!!! sorry rachel. will get you some whenever i see you. haha!

i don't know what title this post. heh. cos it's really random.

well, my week have been urgh... TIRING! on tuesday i did weights and didn't really do proper stretching, so my arm muscles are like damn pain. can't really stretch very easily for now.

CNY celebration in school yesterday was like... DAMN COOL! we had an outdoor concert 'cos our hall is freaking small. the councillors put up a super corny skit which was terribly good! hahah! and the EXCO'07 did a superly un-coordinated and un-prepared dance which they only thought of it in just 10 minutes. cool ay. :) then, the giving out of the oranges were superly coordinated! WAY TO GO CONCILLORS!!! really proud of the whole school 'cos non of them complain. the seniors were watching the performance from lvl 3, and stood throughout the whole 1.5 hours! WHOOO!! but then, when the councillors started the BP cheer, only the councillors cheered. sian. -.-" where has the BP spirit gone to? hmm, CONGRATULATIONS to sophia and the B-div volleyball girls for getting CHAMPION in the west zone!!! :D:D

after that, went to Galvs house to re-string jonL's guitar. haha! then, jammed for a little while. and called 6. and HE DIDN'T GO SCHOOL! -.-" slacker. haha! :P

met ZEPHY, PETER and his friends after that at wisma. and THANKS PETER FOR TELLING SOMEONE I DON'T KNOW TO KICK MY ARSE! damn spastic la. oh and hello peters friends! i forgot your names! hahahahhaa! :P watched epic movie... well, it was kinda corny. wait. who am i joking? FRIDAY: collected math results. and man, kinda disappointed, 'cos i thought i could have gotten an A2. but THANK YOU for the B4. come to think of it, it's kinda well-done, like, 1st time taking O-level math. heh. how i wish malay was as easy as math. hurr... anyways, having dilemma; to drop or not to drop e-math. oh, btw, CONGRATS to people who did better than expected! :) you know who i'm talking about! haha! :D

after that, i went to some get-together thingy over at the new parliment. before that, we had a tour around the building... guess i have to brush up on the History of Singapore. hahah! really.

oh, the dinner served was an 8-course sea-food dinner. AND I ATE THEM ALL! MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! (well, after that, my throat swelled, and my neck started itching, then the tummy, then the toilet thingy and lastly, ulcers! whooo! it's worth it.) never tased scallop before. I AM SO GOING TO MISS THE TASTE. hurrr...

SATURDAY: training was goodiegoodie. wanted to run after training, but, too lazy and nobody wanted to join me. :( haha! anyways, after training, headed to church to study... but i didn't study in the end. heh. bla-bla... and HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIM SEOW! got him a big bag of "ninja-turtles potato snack"! whoo! service was, okay. yupp! :) trying to get my ass off the floor and sitting together with the younger ones. (saying this makes me sound superly old... i wonder how galvs feel.)

SUNDAY: tuition was FUNNY! spent 70% of the 7 hours, laughing our lungs, kidneys, livers and spleen out. hahaha! and then, met joash and rachel to watch movie. yesterday was irritatingly great. i was selected to be interviewed this Friday for some school award stuff, by the MOE. was talking to the principal just before the E-Math test. so i was late for the test and had only 30 mins left to finish up the paper. i thought she would be gracious enough to give me extra time. but no... instead, she scolded me for asking for extra time. was superly dissed. so i guess, i'm gonna fail that paper BIGGOS!

after school, went for training - ALONE! got the black pepper chicken puff i had been eyeing since saturday. haha! didn't get 1 but 2 of 'em. WHOO! haha! training was superly fun. haha! yeah. somehow it was. great sense of achievement. rowed 5 laps, 16k. was tired (and hot) but still managed to survive. i started training at 3.45, when the sun is like directly over me and was in the water for 2 hours. so now, im darker than usual! yay! -.-" and i would like to thank COACH! for always giving me encouragements. :)

today was superly screwed... 'cos of geog test results... failed BIGGOS! besides that, left school at 9.55 and went to a prefectorial installation service at PLMGS. THANKS LINA FOR INVITING MY SCHOOL! well, i guess, it's kinda cool the installation. never been to a methodist school before. and yeah... great experience. oh, CIJIE... sorry i "dao-ed" you and sorry i forgot to bring the red paper! hahaha! :P

after that, went for lunch with dingggy dingggy dingggg donggg! haha! ate some pepper rice and it was NICE! we shared alot of stuff and NO I WON'T TELL YOU HOW WE MET! >< hahaha! hmm... hey woman... thanks for the badges and the drink... I WILL PAY YOU BACK HEAR ME? haha... and thanks for the note woman! :D and btw, you and eunice can go buy lingerie and win $8888!!! whooohoooo!!! hahaha! :) BRABRABRA-tights-BRA.

went to mama's workplace after that for dinner. yumm yumm.. ate at secret recepie and then went to lifebookshop to get a book. a devo. guess i wanna read more devos so i can self-motivate and be encouraged by the scriptures and the stories. heh. :) yupp... but then again, God will always be my source of encouragement! :)

whoohoo... the title is self-explanatory.

well, saturday was okay i guess. worship was great! but training sucked. bug time. kena threatened. well, i tried to manage my time but somehow, i can't make everyone happy can i. there's only 1 me. urgh... then met denis while walking to buy lunch and my mood changed totally. be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man's anger doesn't bring about the righteous life that God desires. James 1:19-20. well, i guess, i did the right thing. i didn't rebel. :) YAY! but then again, they don't deserve to say those kind of things to me do they. they don't owe me a living. URGH!

these 2 days have been great! got back my A-math test and got 20/30! whoo hooo hooo! i am super happy. but geog results were kinda sad. 27/50. i passed, yeah. but i aim for an A1. nvm... shall study harder for this coming Thursdays geog test. band wasn't tiring at all. in fact, it was kinda fun! :) tmr will be my last day playing the QUADS 'cos i have to pass the 'baton' to another TOM player. :D yeah.

anyway, today wasn't tiring at all. finished all my homework in school (except for Malay... HAHA!). speaking of malay, i got 5/26 for my malay test. super bad! XP i so don't know how i'm going to fare for O-levels. tsk tsk. if only the school gave me the option to take malay B. that would make my life easier. ya man.

CME is rather meaningful. it makes you think, reflect and be open-minded. really. today, 'broccoli' asked to predict what lies ahead in our lives. i can't really answer that, 'cos i really haven't really planned ahead yet :P. she also asked us to reflect on our past 17 years and well, i guess there were ups and downs in life. a verse sums up todays CME lesson - "When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider: God has made the one as well as the other. Therefore, a man cannot discover anything about his future." (eccs 7:14). yup! God did create happy and sad, good and bad. and "a man cannot discover anything about his future" 'cos it's all in Gods hands! :)

hurr... i hope the rest of the week would me as fruitful as these two blessed days.

had a-math test today and my gosh it was easy. working my arse of was worth it. yeah! hopefully i can get like more than 30? heehee... e-math was a pain in the butt with "URGH" and plus the extremely low temperature, my brain wasn't working properly. heh! chemistry teacher didn't turn up today 'cos she spilled acid onto her hands. HAHA! no lah. i love my CHEM-istry teacher. whooots. but i spent the time memorising the solubility table. yay! (jonl: yupp... it's the solubility table! haha!) and Osgodby was busy so he didn't come for English lesson. but i did some a-math revision during his lesson, which was before the test. yay! i think Osgodby should 'be busy with something' everyday, so i can do my own revision on other subjects. HAHA! nehh... i like my English teacher. he's britttttty. :)

anyways, i ate nasi lemak again for recess without ikan bilis! hehh! and after school, i met up with jonL, judith, HH and SY. well, i remember clearly last time, i had this burning desire to start a 'band fellowship group'. but it didn't start 'cos, i don't know... busy i guess. and then today, jonL was talking about starting a fellowship group. judith was okay with it 'cos i had a talk with her once. but the other 2 had 2nd thoughts. after that, me and jonL took the bus home and were talking about it. well, more like, talking through typing our messages on our phones 'cos there were 2 malay girls from our school sitting right infront of us. hehh... well, i concluded by saying, "Gods timing." yeah. well, i guess it's really up to God. jonL: brudder, i know you desire to see the Christians in school to come together and just have this close bond as bros and siss in Christ. yupp! so let's not stop praying and put our hopes in God ya? then it struck me again. hey... the BFG (band fellowship group. cool name ay, like big friendly giant. MWAHAHAHA!) i realize now why it seems so difficult to quit band. there were things undone. firstly, i really have to help my SL and ASL to coach the new sec 1 percussionists. secondly, i can't just leave the quads collect dust. i need to teach people how to play the toms! thirdly, i made a promise to myself that there WILL be a BFG. so yeah! and 'cos i'm in band, it's easier for me to talk to SY and HH! whooo! :D:D so, uh, i hope, this BFG will start soon.

after today, i am really glad that there are other Christians in school who really desire to see their friends being saved. yup. as for me, i know there are a handful Christians in my class but they backslide tremendously and well, eventhough i may not be super close to them, but, i pray that God will work through me. yup!

after school i went to the stadium with my sister. 1st set, i ran 2.4km. then, jogged 1 round, 400m sprint, jog and 400m sprint again. jog for 2 rounds and then stopped. 11 rounds! whoo... and well, that concludes my day! :)

my weekend have been spent quite wisely. i managed my time properly (rare). really. :)

(oh... new blog skin! yeah!)

SATURDAY: went for National Education Symposium 2007 in the morning. it turned out to be rather meaningful to some extend. had discussions about the N.E taught in Singapore and well, i must say i am proud to be in the little red dot. but, the food wasn't as good as i thought it would be. heh. after the symposium, i met jonnyNG at tanah merah. waited for him for almost an hour. haha! well, it wasn't his fault really 'cos it was a last minute thing. yup. then, we headed down to kallang to get jonnyNG's ticket for the Singapore VS. Malaysia soccer match. but unfortunately, tickets were sold out... poof! sorry man! after that, i knew jonnyNG was quite disappointed. yeah. after that, we made our way to church by taxi that cost $13.20. the taxi driver asked a hell lot of questions!

service was really... how should i put it... meaningful. well, firstly glad that bryan invited his nonidentical twin brother along. yupp! 1st ever twin brother in WEB! :) at the beginning of the service, i wasn't feeling well (sick feeling). i really don't know why. heh(random.) anyways, yesterdays sermon concludes the topic about 'Boy, Girl and Me'. a really interesting topic to talk about. it was meaningful in a sense that, not only the message was relevant but, as i responded to the alter-call, i reflected on the past ten months that i have spent with God. i wasn't proud of myself at all. a later while i teared, 'cos i never did open the eyes of my heart. and as we sang that song for worship, i tell you, it was super difficult. i knew i was unworthy to sing the song 'cos i haven't been opening the eyes of my heart. all i have been doing is saying 'yes God' but absolutely no action taken. yeah. i was feeling overwhelmed by guilt. on the other hand, i was facing what i call 'critical steps'. things didn't go well for me 'cos yeah, my life is kinda tough. i am all alone (spiritually) at home. i think i am taking 'critical steps' 'cos i'm like this guy, who is standing in the middle of a plank, which is floating in the water. every move i make would cause the plank to be unstable. and when i'm unstable, i'll fall. 2 things are at the ends of the plank. one side Faith, and the other, Family. so, wherever i go, the plank will just go unstable. get what i mean?

TODAY: i went for wg and it was kinda wierd. haha! anyways,

DEAREST WG, it has been 10 fruitful months knowing each and every one of you. come to think of it, i am blessed to be in CEFC, WEB and in trailblazers. you guys have given me the support i needed and well, though i know i'm kinda the odd-one-out but despite that, you guys still accepted me. i pray that you guys will continue to press on and be steadfast in your walk with the Lord, as we embark on this new journey, multiplied. although i don't really know all of you that well, but looking at the photos collaborated by mark and galvs, i can see that you guys are more than friends. yeah! finally, i just want to say, even if we 'split' continue to "blaze" the "trail". well, week 4 have been great i must say. with everything happening so fast. really really fast! i kinda like it.

BAND: o.m.g, i miss band alot! i went for band practice on tuesday and wednesday and i tell you, i miss my QUADS! whooo! after band - tired to the max! haha! and well, i can say that the band is somewhat stepping into the 21st century now. HAHA! band have always been playing REALLY REALLY old classical songs like 'Valencia' and i don't know... really old songs! (band have been in the 18th century since very long ago!) now we are like playing 'somewhere out there', 'when a man loves a woman' and etc. they are old songs but arranged in the 20th century. haha! like it's "new" in some ways. heh... looking forward to the next band practice next tuesday. OH, and the sec 1's are coming in. excite the moment new percussionists.

WORK: no sweat. have been able to finish up my work everyday despite my tiredness. whooots! yeah. :) thank You!!! like, i haven't been this relaxed even when i am really really tired. yup! :D its true then. if i put my hope in God, everything will be a-okay! amen! :D

oh, today...

hmm... during recess, i ate nasi lemak. you guys know me right, when i eat, i won't stop talking... so, there i was, talking and chewing on my delicious nasi lemak and suddenly, i felt something sharp that jabbed into my gums just beside my left molars. the ikan bilis was really really sharp that it pierced through my gums. i am serious! i did bleed. but thankfully didn't really lose much blood. hurr. i think ikan bilis should be banned 'cos it kills!! really. who knows, the next victim might be YOU! pffft. the subsequent lesson after recess (malay) was double 'hell'. i was in pain both mentally and physically. hahahaha! :P

SPIRITUAL WALK: well, firstly, sorry Joseph for not calling you in monday and tuesday. was really tired and went to bed quite early. yup! hmm... i don't know why, but i have been having doubts about stuff that i don't even want to think about. but it keeps coming back and like, it is really a pain in the butt! lots of questions to ask but i just don't know where to start. hurr... frankly, i started my faith quite abruptly. who am i kidding? i was a lost soul! yup. but by Gods grace, i kinda got the hang of it after only say... 1 month? everything that happened after the 1st month passed by really quickly. then, parents found out, yada-yada. thought of giving up my life... (whooops. i WAS stupid.) but by Gods grace, i was back on track with Him. okay. at this point of time, there's is absolutely NO link to the 'doubts'. see what i mean? i don't make sense. hurr.. GALVS, if you are free... i really need to talk to you. :)

week 2...

week 2 kick started quite well i must say. :D thanks to Mr. Paul Osgodby's patience and well, i didn't expect him to say "it's alright" when i told him that i haven't finished my homework. like WHOA! haha! anyways, as promised, I AM UPDATING! :D

oh oh... hmm... week 2 was 'dignostic test' week (that's how my physics teacher spelt DIAGNOSTIC test. HAHA!) and man i tell you i think screwed up MOST of the papers 'cos i didn't study... 'cos of TRAININGS!! i got back my english and my a math paper and my gosh... i was surprised! hmm, i got 24/30 for my english essay (highest in class *AHEM*) and 5.5/30 for my a-math! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA! yupp FIVE AND A HALF OVER THIRTY. i know im the best. i know. :D haha! well, kinda expected already la. i forgot ALL the a-math formula and tons and tons and tons of careless mistakes. yupp. but anyways, getting 1st in class for english is quite a compliment. :D

let's see. last SATURDAY (6jan07): had my PTT; 5km RUN. i passed! yupp. with a timing of 26.11.1 minutes! whoohoo!
yesterday(13jan07): had my PTT; erGo 2km time trial. i deteriorated big time. my timing from 7.53 to 8.21. damn bad. yupp. so yea. very sad la yesterday. heh. oh oh oh and bryan and ian came to church. :D yupp! glad they could make it and i think they had fun! haha. okay random. anyways, yea... im damn shaked! oh, and i finally gave GALVS the loooong awaited slippers yesterday. :D glad he liked it! yay! GALVS: i somehow knew you like the colour! HAHA! :) hmm... and i guess it's kinda cool to be in an extended family of different people. yupp. shared some stuff with EUNICE MEI last night and well, we are in the same boat. like, we have the same problems and stuff la. :D MEI: after what i've reflected, as in, for me lah... i've been thinking of all the negative points of this person and never looking at what this person means to me. and no matter how this person treats me, i'd still love this person 'cos God placed me with this person for a reason. God put us in such a situation so we can learn to 'adapt' to other peoples environment. yeah! so yea, let's just keep us in prayer and pray for "yous knows whos"... :D

TODAY: woke up at 7, 'cos... 'cos... 5 people smsed me. haha! and yea. haha! anywyas, was helping out at my brothers place (blood brother for your information.) 'cos there's some hair-cutting ceremony (cukur rambut) for my nephew who is SUPER - DUPER - UTTERLY - CUTE! haha! oh, and i had to wash the dishes! yay!-.-". my hands looks like my grandma's feet. urgh. haha! and i had the LONGEST journey home... i somehow sensed that they knew about me and such. so yea. i kinda expected what they want to ask me. haha! RELATIVES: try not to act like you know me. you don't. :)(refering to the general relatives ya. :D)(and i put a smilie there... so i'm not angry. just telling you. okay? :D)(see... more smilies! :D:D:D) i know you guys are concerened. but are you really? aha!

nightmare kitty #1 (Handsome - the 1st victim.)

introduction : happy meals from McYawndles are kinda scary. especially when they come in the shape of a cat that has no mouth (guess who?). this is a story of what happened to this kid who threw away a McYawndle toy. (note : the 1st few episodes are based on a true story/recount. and the rest is just plain crap.) join me once every forghtnight to unveil the secrets behind the McYawndle crew, what they are up to and also find out how the toys take over the world.
*(name changed due to privacy.)

1023hours, bukit batok mrt station. there *Handsome stood waiting for *GEP and *Aqua to come. but they were late. really late. really really really late. 23 minutes late. he then met the 'curry puff girls' in McYawndle for breakfast. *Bonnie, one of the member of 'curry puff girls' bought a happy meal and got a toy for free, and gave it to Handsome. Handsome humbly rejects the offer and said he is matured and don't really like to play with toys. but Bonnie insists that he have it. she opened the package and the first thing he saw was a hideous, purple coloured cat shaped toy, with no mouth. he was really scared. but didn't want to show his cowardly side and played with the toy.

while playing with the toy, Zep... oops... GEP arrived with a bag of notes. settled down and started memorizing notes. (haha!) he didn't order anything 'cos he don't need food. neither does he needs water... or air. he's immortal. then, Aqua came and he looked really tired. he then gave the excuse that he swimmed to Timbook2 and back in just 2 hours. but Handsome knew what he didn't swimmed. he knew what Aqua did last summer. and the other summer before the last summer. and the previous summer before the other summer after the first summer season in Sing-jia-poor. Handsome knew that Aqua didn't swimmed. He swam. so there Aqua was settling down and gang-ing up with GEP and started laughing at Handsome. Handsome didn't care was still playing with the toy. he could somehow fell that the toy was alive. he could feel the heart beating; racing, every time he picks it up. he wonders why. but didn't really want to think too much about it.

after breakfast. the gang caught a movie. at the cinema lobby, there was a hypno-tv and everyone was hypnotised except for the toy. it then ran to the counter and bought 7 tickets to watch the Holiday and murdered the cashier (that explains how they got the tickets for free.), and gave the tickets to Handsome, who was sitting down in front of the tv hypnotised. it placed the tickets in his hands and then switched off the tv. then, the gang suddenly woke up from their deep sleep. Aqua didn't get to enter the theatre 'cos there was an ugly, old hag who blocked the entrance after the rest managed to pass through. this made Aqua quite mad and suddenly, the hypno-tv switched on by itself again. and everyone got hypnotised except for the toy again the next thing they knew, the old 'thing' disappeared.

during the movie, it was raining pop corns thanks to Aqua. the toy was fast asleep and regenerating... to take over the world............................

the movie ended and Aqua rushed out of the theatre 'cos he needed to pee. Handsome knew why. it wasn't just 'cos it was cold. he was cursed by the toy 'cos the popcorn dropped on it and woke it up. so it got really angry and casted a pee spell on Aqua. and the cure to the curse is to make the toy talk. but it was a mission too impossible for anyone. hence, Aqua is still cursed. there is actually another cure to this terrible sickness. Aqua needs to collect gypsy tears and drink to stop the curse. but there weren't any gypsies around.

the gang then went rolling-pins. Handsome was the best. he teamed up with *Kristal. GEP teamed up with *Akire, *Tennis balls with Bonnie and Aqua played alone. (due to Handsome's personal issue with the terrible score he had, he don't want anyone to know about it. so we are going to skip this part of the story.)

when the gang was about to leave, Handsome left the toy behind. this was a terrible mistake he made after getting a terrible score. he knew and he saw the toy lying on the floor and just left it alone. this made the toy mad-er. really really mad-er and they toy used it toy-ly powerful power and stopped time, caught up with the gang, and went on top of Handsomes bag. then, he resumed the time. and Handsome was really surprised to see it there. he was horrified to see that the toy was actually sweating. he looked at the time and saw that it was already 1527hours. but 2 minutes ago, he looked at the time and saw that it was 1455hours. he was really shocked about how fast time flies. (okay. this part is really random.)

1528hours. reached lazer quest. Handsome rocked 'cos he teamed up with Akire and Aqua. but the Akire was the real pancake (in other words, she was on fire.) 'cos her name appeared twice in the top 5 list.

then we all headed home. and Handsome is oblivion to the fact that the toy is still in his back after he put it outside the emergency door.

all started with 'ng' and thanks to him and Him, life kinda changed abit. uhh, i didn't notice the change 'till like just now, when we were having prayer and worship time. yup! it's was kinda like an alter-call. and while praying, i meditated and well, God was trying to talk to me. but i just can't figure out about what. hurr. this makes me lose my focus on everything else. however, i'm really blessed to have the hand phone that can reach God. but the reception quite bad. haha! i may take a few days to reflect on it. yea. and that was why i took my bible out while praying and was just, reading the books in the new testament. yupp. really need alot of time precessing. and to those i prayed for personally, remember the verse i gave you? haha! i don't remember too! :P anyway, just have faith in Him no matter what happens. :) meanwhile, i AM TIRED and i have homework to do! yay! :) i miss writing essays. :) no sarcasm intended! my hand are itching to write! haha!

toady's been okay i guessed. started of with a movie in chapel, then had lunch. ouh ouh ouh, i ate fishballs today and i have no rashes! haha! yay! hmm... i think i can eat fishballs 'cos it's only 12% fish. hahaha! the rest is flour and water. hahaha! wewawohe.

i love the rain. and stepping on puddles and getting my foot wet, and getting really sick after that! haha! yay. nahh, i'm not sick. just that my shoe is really wet. yeah! why? 'cos me and asaph had to go to the main road to flag cabs for the remaining 13 people who were still in church. all dry. :) hurr... alot of cabs were available, but they didn't wanna stop! super angry.

well, really had a great time today. thanks to cedric and kathleen, aaron's dad and Pa for planning a great so called 'retreat' for us. despite the rain, everything went quite okay. had a mini-soccer monkey game. yeah! it's funny la! i scored the highest points! whooo! (note:highest points lose.)

reached Cam's around 6 and the 3 guys were quite drenched 'cos the taxi driver didn't drive in the condo. dumb ass! he was like, ni men bu ge yi jiang hua yi ah... ni men ang mo ha. den i was like, wo bu ge yi jiang hua yi la uncle. wo bu shi hua ren. i felt like slapping his face. anyways, got to cam's place and ate noughts! haha! and she ordered like super alot of pizzas. :P sorry... 'cos i gave her wrong info. then, they wanted to play super munchkins. but i don't really know how to expain the game to them... so we played taboo instead. it was fun! haha! the guys OWNED the game big time... thanks to me, adriel and andrew (and charles). thanks Cam for the wonderful night. merry Xmas you guys! :)

my weekend was tightly packed with events. however, i'm really glad that everything went quite well, though some didn't turn out the way i expected it to be... but nevermind. my week's gonna be really hectic too. nevertheless, will try my best pull myself together and carry on.

SATURDAY : went for this super cool seminar at noon. the people taught me how to study smart and not study hard. yupp! and well, in just a short 5 minutes, i memorized a number of 'difficult' words. hehh. it's fun. i'm joining them next year, from feburary onwards, every sunday... thus i have to stop working. :P after the seminar, i went for the christmas musical in CEFC. met galvs and the rest at greenridge before making our way to church. had a very heavy dinner. hehh. thanks to david lam... who didn't finish 75% of his chicken. reached church and started getting busy selling the christmas t-shirts. quite a number of people baught it. and i got mine for FREE! haha! :P didn't really get to watch the beginning of the musical though 'cos the people who were selling were downstaris doing something. heh. after the musical, went for supper and didn't really ate anything 'cos i wasn't that hungry. got a can of sprite and headed home. yupp!

SUNDAY : to tell you the truth, i'm not very good at organizing events. hahaha! (kinda ironic... 'cos in school i'm the EXCO for humanitarian resource, who have to plan alot of events throughout the year. haha!)

woke up at 7.40. took a really warm shower 'cos it was raining like nobodys business. prepared to go church for SBJDWT meeting. did QT while having my breakfast. yupp! to tell you the truth, i was quite stressed yesterday. haha! never felt this kind of pressure for soooooo long! left home around 8.30. after the meeting, i met my long lost mei from WDP to fetch her to our workplace. she look super different lah! haha! it's been 3 years since we last saw each other. then i took a cab back to church. met david lam and mingxuan. and they are the ones who helped me wrap joashs' birthday presents. yea... presentS! from just wrapping the box, they wrapped the shoes too. and you guys do know the typical ming xuan right? writing alot really cheesy and random stuff. haha! after that, i had worship rehersal for STIR which was quite messy but did manage to go through all the songs. yupp! it was raining really terribly heavy outside and poor me had to walk to BPP to meet galvs and dory. luckily i brought my umbrella. hehh. met them and took a cab to holland v to meet joash for his birthday dinner. (check!) had dinner at essential brews. (check!) dory and galvs had to rush home to finish work. (check!) wasted time at holland v so that galvs and dory can make it to joashs' place on time. (check!) supposed to slowly take bus home. (failed!) 'cos joash wanted to take taxi back. -.-" the taxi driver quite blur.. missed the turn in to the condo and we had to run for like 200 meters 'cos it was raining. this wasn't part of the plan! haha! supposed to call galvs. (failed!) haha! :P sorry. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... while me and joash were outside the house, he was like, eh, my door is locked. so my dad's not at home. eh, i think my dad cleaned the house. but how? he's not at home. and why is the air-con at home switched on? somebody must be home. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! i was like, omg................. haha! when he opened the door, he saw dory and galvs sitting at the staircase. HAHA! his face was really shocked and he was like 'ok'. then, when he went to the living room, the team sang a birthday song for him. yeah! hmm... and he was really shocked i could tell. haha! yeah! joash was surprised! (check!) yupp! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRO!!! ouh. and the bagel inside the box... PLEASE EAT IT!!! HAHAHAHAHA! it's nice! :)

TODAY : taking my N lvl results later at 2pm. promised myself that i would wake up like at 11 or 12 but no.................................... i woke up at 7 today. diao. feeling really nervous now. yup! can't really think about anything else except for the results. hehh.. after that, heading to *ahems* house for christmas party cum reunion dinner. (shut up joash...) yupp.

MOVIE MANIA 2.

well, didn't wake up for training today. HAHA! was really tired i guess.

last night i watched saw 3 half-way and i couldn't take it and went off to bed. haha! i've got a weak stomach i tell you. heh. seeing all the blood... so much blood coming out. man, it's super gross! 'cos it's like a lady drilling the mans skull! like WTH! and the blood came out like nobodys business. so there i was on my rocking chair and my eyes hiding behind my pillow. haha! i wanted to see what was going to happen yet i didn't want to. haha! :P so i stopped and went to bed! haha!

woke up today and mummy cooked nasi lemak. super nice. except for the chicken. she was supposed to fry them but she put them in the oven instead. so it wasn't that crispy. haha! then, i clean up abit. and guess what? i love DUST BUNNIES! haha! 'cos they make me sick! yay! -.- found alot of music scores that i have been searching for for a super long time! haha! but, i think i threw them away 'cos it was super dusty... or didn't i? hmm...

after that, i continued the never ending movie, saw 3! haha! the later part of the movie was quite boring 'cos there were more talking than action. haha! (and lesser blood! whoo!) after the show... i didn't even know it ended. haha! it's like.. WTH lah! waste my time watching. haha! then i went online. and chatted with afew people. and WHAT A SMALL WORLD?!?!?!? chong wee knows who yao lei is. super! haha! ouh. and after that, i was stoning. haha! in my normal mode... but this time, i was processing something...

hmm... it's very rare for me to think. HAHAHA! (no okay. i'm just exaggerating and making fun of myself for the benefit of those who always bully me. hehh. i am a normal human being who thinks everyday and every time. :) )

..anyways..

i miss rowing la. i miss it like nobodys business. i miss my boat, my oars, and PANDAN RESERVOIR! whoo. i miss the toilet and the stairs. hurr... and man... i think my rowing skills went down the drain, back into the reservoir! haha! (so funny.) haven't been training for super long! hehh. (blame it on EXAMS!) oh, and i was thinking about what i want to do in the future... come to think of it, being a rower in singapore is not so worth it. i don't really get funded... 1) 'cos i'm not that good. 2) rowing is not popular in singapore. yeah! hmm... but then again, thanks to rowing, i am able to step out of my confort zone and find the inner strength. haha! like, i never knew i could have gotton like so far lah. hmm.. well, not that far. but good enough for what i expected before i became an athlete. and i admit. because of rowing, i am more disciplined! seriously. i have to watch what i eat... yada-yada. and also, rowing is the one and only sport that i am good at. yeah. other than badminton or floor ball... rowing is like the toughest and the funnest, come to think of it. hurr. haha! so maybe, it is worth it after all. yupp. so from now on, i am going to be steadfast in rowing and who knows, i may be a gold medalist! heehee. an ambiguous future! haha! yupp. so. i am going to be disciplined and be the best rower i can be.

i pledge that i will overcome all obstacles, all pain for the benefit of my club, my team and myself. i pledge that i will row with passion and not because i am forced to do it. i am proud to be a singaporean 'cos it's a beautiful and peaceful country. HAHAHA! wells, all i have to do now is to surrender i guess. my future is nobodys but His! hmm... THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING!!! haha!

MOVIE MANIA!

wells, i spent most of my time today on the couch watching movies. yay! movies from HBO and DVD.

the 1st movie was, land of the dead (HBO). watched it like a billion times already but it's still super nice! i love "zombified" movies. i like to see them run and scare people! it's funny! and when they bite someone... WHOA. it's SUPER! :)

2nd movie, sharks tale. woots! i thought it's going to be like super kiddy at first but then, it turned out to be okay. haha! i don't really like cartoons, but... getting used to it. heh. i have to appreciate cartoons now after knowing how it is made and everyhting. yeah. heh... i salute to all cartoonists!

3rd movie, BORAT! it is super nonsensical! omg. people with weak stomach SHOULD NOT watch! your stomach would burst 'cos you'll not stop laughing! haha! it is SUPER crappy la. like mocking alot of people. but at least there's a story line. a lame one. it should be rated NC16! haha!

4th movie, hoodwinked. another cartoon. i like stories with a twist at the end. like, the suspet is the one who you least expects. haha! well, hoodwinked is a different version of red riding hood. it's a must see movie! yeah!

urgh. i think that's about it. ouh and watched abit of saw 2 and i got super grossed out. i cannot watch sadistic movies. especially when HUMANS kill HUMANS (zombies are not humans okay.) yupp. and saw reminds me of the grossiest movie i have ever watched in my whole life, 'house of wax'. yeah. it is sick i tell you. hurr.. i mean like, it's okay for zombies to hurt humans 'cos... it's okay la. it's like a tiger eating humans. yeah. haha! :P not that it's good or anything but, humans are part of the food chain too right (FOR OTHER LIVING CREATURES!). yupp. so it's kinda not okay for humans to hurt other humans... it's just not right. hehh. okay. i am crapping now. woots!

and urgh... 6's gone for missions, kor too... 7 not back yet from korea... URGH! it's so borrrrring!!!!!!!! -.- hmm... and i think tmr, after training, i am going to go home and watch more movies!!!! YAY! -.-

3 days passed super fast and i thank God it did. the trip to Kuala Lumpur and Genting Highlands was super fun! Friday night, after the sentosa trip, i was really really tired. but had alot of fun! :) and i couldn't really sleep that night 'cos i had rashes. -.- i have no idea why. i think i am allergic to ikan bilis too! :( *ikan bilis from Eunice's nasi lemak*

SATURDAY : woke up at 1, 3 and 6. (AM) 'cos i was scratching and at 3am i couldn't take it and i had a hot shower! then i slept 'till 6. anyways, my mum, sis and i made our way to clementi mrt to wait for the tour bus. blablabla. and we didn't know that a malay comedian is following us to this trip! hmm... i think the tour was 'alive' because of him. haha! reached KL at around 4PM! and went to petaling street! bought some stuff for someone and man it's CHEAP!!! yeah! and finally at 6, we checked-in into our hotel. "quality hotel". -.- very ironic... the quality quite bad. HAHA! and there's a COCKROACH in our room! like, wth. -.- and then we went to masjid india (indian mosque) after that. mummy baught her stuff and we ate this yummy bread called the "roti azbak" or sumthing. haha! :P IT IS SUPER DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha! uh, it's a sweet bread, filled with chicken and some 'kebab' stuff. and then, it's wrapped with popiah skin and it's DEEP FRIED!!! omg. it's unhealthy yet heavenly! haha!

SUNDAY : went to GENTING! woots! but we only had 3 hours to spend there. it's kinda stupid la. hurr... anyways, me and my sis took this super cool ride. "space shot". the queue was super long and we spent almost 50 mins waiting. hurrr...
okay... i'll load the video when it's ready. haha! went to KLCC after GENTING and ate lunch there. was hoping MARK wld be there. but then, he's somewhere else. hehh.

well... i think that's about it. can't wait to see my friends! WOOOTS! and results are in 6 days and counting! :)

TODAY! i went to SENTOSA with EUNICE, MAB and JOASH! wooots! i was feeling quite sian 'cos the bus ride from home to harbourfront took almost 1 1/2 hours! i wanted to rest my eyes... but, thanks to super considerate aunties at the back (sarcasm intended.) of the bus, i couldn't sleep. my mp3 volume was max-ed up but still could hear them yapping about how much they get during last nights gambling game... or something. hurrr.

reached harbourfront at 10 and had to wait for JOASH. when he arrived, we had to queue up for the bus to sentosa. hurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... the queue was UBER long! but thanks to super fast bus service, the line was moving fast.

the first thing the 4 of us did was to eat stuff. JOASH bought fruits which cost like a nonsensically unreasonable price.

...anyways... (it's so random...)

ouh... we SWAM! yea. i was swimming to another island and my limbs got cramped! i nearly drowned. like. i was super scared! i shouted, "JOASH! i have cramps!"... denh he stopped swimming and stared at me. "i seriously need help!" den he swam towards me and saved my life!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! :) thanks JOASH!

lala... den we played 2-on-2 touch rugby. and guess who won? -.-"

YESTERDAY (6.12.6) : went out with WEBBERS from other WG. had a really long time spent in ESCAPE THEME PARK!! woots! haha! the best 'ride' i thought was the Haunted House. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAH! i wasn't scared at all! really. i was like the one leading the pack. and it's super not scary lah. haha! :P but after we finished the 'ride' my ears were in pain! haha! guess why. -.- haha! the girls were screaming like nobodys business...

well, yesterday was spent fruitfully. yupp! :) thanks guys for the trip to escape! :):) and thanks 7 for the invitation! :)

these 8 months have been real for me. learnt alot of things, went through alot of difficulties and yeah, found the "thing" to fill the emptiness in my life. all the earthly things i can think of cannot fill the space and i think i am really blessed with the people i've met, the sufferings i went through and yeah, the company i have with Pa.

YESTERDAY: the worship team really did a great job! :) (2 thumbs up guys!) hmm, korkor's buddy received Him an hour before his WG and whooooooooo! the heaven IS rejoycing but i didn't manage to share how i felt tho. :) next timeeeeeeeeeee!! :):)

before WEB, i met up with Jabez and taught him some sec 1 math. he's a fast learner i tell you. haha! yupp. and i hope that he continues to have this spirit to learn when he's in secondary school! :)

after service, Grace invited me to her clubhouse for her mum's CG Christmas Party (or sumthing). the highlight of the party : THE FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!! hahahahhahahahahaha! yeah. actually, no lah. seriously speaking, i really enjoyed the fellowship i had with the webbers who were there : jerome, ian, asaph(who left super early 'cos he's a mama's boy), grace, zephy(who joined us after carolling), matthew and euphie (did i miss anyone out?). yupp. get to know them better and o mannnnnnnnn!!! they are a crazy bunch lah! hehh. to CALVIN : hmm... i think you need help with these bunch of kids. hehh! :P yupp! thank you Grace for inviting me! :) ouh and the "cheesecake" look-alike spoilt the night. hahaha! :P

TODAY : reached jiao tang at 8:45 'cos ng asked me to help out in JD, to play the guitar. i really want to... but, to be honest, i can't really play the guitar that well. neither can i sing that well. but then again, i think i'll try my best to serve Him in anyway i can la! yupp.

anyways...

i had to skip WG cos of JD. haha! but i still went for the last few minutes of WG tho! yupp. we shared about the WG and stuff like that and i think i am not the only 1 who feels like what the others felt about the WG. mm... yupp. i think WG is really imprtant 'cos, firstly, fellowship is essential to build up ones growth with the Lord. secondly, WG is a time where one can share personal or spiritual stuff with one another. who knows, a member of the WG has the same problem as another member and well, it's kinda easier to talk about it if the 2 (or more party) have the same opinion about something. (like what happened today!) yupp. glad that there are other members in my WG who really have the desire for the whole WG to come back together! :) i shall keep my WG in prayer. :)

after WG, the few of us had lunch at the yellow tables. then, the Bintan team had mission meeting. hurrr. they asked me to translate the instructions to 'bahasa' and i was like having trouble doing it... hahaha! i wish them all the best when they are there! hahaha! :P my malay is super 'teruk' and they want me to do it in 'bahasa indonesia'? hmm... wrong person. haha! :P and then i played soccer! whoooooooo!!! haha. i was a joke lah! but then. it was fun! yuppp...

hmm... in the later part if the afternoon, me and galvs attended a wake. sue's grandmother passed away yesterday. yupp. well, it was a great experience i must say. after the service, i felt as if i knw mrs. ng for all my life. hmm... i don't really know they feel 'cos i haven't really experience the death of my loved one. but i've been to a muslim funeral before. once. yupp and i tell you, there is a big difference between the two!

tonight, i was really touched by the testimonies given by the 'off-springs' of late mrs.ng. i teared 'cos i really felt as if i knew sue's granny since i was young. and i am happy too 'cos her sufferings have been ceased and now, she is safe and sound with Pa. the baton has now been passed down to the next generation, and i pray that the children of late mrs.ng will continue to press on in their walk with the Lord. she may not be physically there for them, but she will always be deep down in their hearts. death is a beginning of life. yup!

the differneces between a Christian wake and a Muslim funeral :

a year ago, my grand-uncle passed away as a muslim. i never knew the procedure to bury the body would be super tedious. i won't go any futher. hehh... in the end, everyone felt really remorsed. well, it's a natural feeling to be sad 'cos a loved one just left the earth. however, as i said above, "death is a beginning of life", clearly explains that we have to 'be happy' and 'celebrate' when someone dies because their prolonged sufferings have been ceased and they are now safe in the kingdom of God with God, singing and dancing joyfully. yupp. (that is, if one believes that there is such a thing as 'a kingdom of God'.) and that's was what i saw today in the Christian wake. eventhough, there were tears (we are humans :)), but i could tell, deep down, they were glad that late mrs.ng is now resting in the hands of the Creator. and one word sums up the difference between the two funeral... LOVE! and a verse too that can sum up what i experienced today!

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. yupp. let me explain how this relates to the differnece. *ahem*

"For God so loved the world" clearly states, HE LOVES HIS CREATIONS! that's me, and you! :):) yupp. and if you have been reading my blog, i've been saying "God = love". and late mrs.ng left behind a testimony of God's unconditional love for her loved ones!

"that he gave his one and only Son" mrs.ng didn't sacrifice her son. (:P) instead, she put the cross before herself and trust in the Lord. mrs.ng have been partially deaf since young. but she didn't give up her walk with her Pa. no she didn't! she gave her life to God, like how God gave His son to die for us.

"that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." late mrs.ng is a believer. and i joyfully thank God that she is now in His house, celebrating her 1st day of her eternal life. 2 Cor 5:8 "We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord." (NIV). she's really happy now. :)

LOVE. love seperates the 2 funerals. it's natural to feel sad and remorse about losing a loved one but to know that they are safe and sound in the house of God, takes a step of faith. one of the funeral, love wasn't really present. He is not in the picture. they are just afraid that the soul of the person might just enter the body again. however, the other, He is presnt. and the testimonies given by the family members shows the love mrs.ng gave them which also shows Jesus love for them and the rest of us. yupp. :) God was working in thier life all these while. and that's one thing i myself must know and truely understand...

i really thank God for the time He have given me these few days.. i can say i am there, but not there yet. hahahaha! (contradictary) hmm... yeah. i still have a long way to go! yupp. :)

8 months have been WORTHWHILE. 8th month will be WORTHWHILE. :) knowing Him is WORTHWHILE!

yeah! really glad it's over.

reached Raffles Town Club at 4.18pm. was 18 minutes late due to the jam at an expressway somewhere in singapore. haha! and everyone was waiting for me lah. oops. :P (actually i was late also 'cos i was styling my hair for almost an hour! whooo!) hmm, i reached RTC and the first thing they asked from me was, "did you get the stars?" i was like.... WHAT STARS?! all i had to do was to make the tags and write the questions. that's all! :) hmm... i don't wanna write angsty stuff la. HAHA! :)

ANYWAYS...

ate for free at a cafe in RTC. got myself 3 pieces of lamb chop and an apple pie and ice-cream. not very nice tho. hehh... but it was free! :):):) hmm... when we came back down to the lobby, there were people already there, waiting to go in. -.- (super kancheong people) and 'you know who' were also super kancheong. i feel like killing myself cos there were alot of "spiders" all around me. WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! buay tahan i tell you. (okay i shall stop.)

well, had NOTHING to do at home after everyone from WEB left MSN to go 'you know where' to prepare for 'tulang-ikan'. haha! but was glad that i had the chance to chill at home 'cause, FISHBONE was hectic!!! yet, it was great! everything went quite okay. except that MAMA RAMA ran out super FAST!!! :( haha. anyways, met alot of people! yay! hahaha! i bet all of them can't remember my name... ('cause it super difficult to pronounce -.-) hahah! the weather was SUPERB! it stopped just before the cafe started. yeah! God works! :)

well, alot of people i invited couldn't make it. but nevermind. seriously nevermind. in such short notice, it's partly my fault. :) yupp. there will be ANOTHER fishbone coming up next April maybe? YEAH! hmm... really had great fun. (eventhough i don't really know what i did that was 'fun') but i think, the most imprtant thing is that, i could see the love of the 'befrienders' for their friends. yupp. (and the other WEBBERS too.) and that God was there, looking down and saying, "wow!" and there is only one thing that i can do now; give thanks to Him for the time of fellowship, the weather and most imprtantly, His presence. yupp. looking forward to next weeks service! would love to see many new comers coming! "themis" HAHAHA! the highlight word of the camp and "one person" keeps on farting and and and o mann, i just love this kind of camps where all you want to do is to not to go home and have fun. the best thing is, God was with all of us. i am not saying this because it's cool saying it. but i really felt God was with me, the leaders, helpers, the kids and yeah EVERYONE!

something happened in day 1 that totally changed the atmosphere. it was after dinner and yada-yada... felt really funny. my mind was in a mess. i was really glad that my spider was there 'cause i didn't really have anyone to talk to 'cause everyone else was uber busy. hmm, and i spent 2 hours with God and "526" .really glad that he took the time to comfort me. and yeah. the song, "i walk by faith" played in my mind and 526 also told me that i did and i have been taking steps of faith. hmm, and things went back to normal after that. AND "one person" FARTED LAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! hahahahhahahahahaahah! really thank God for the camp 'cause i think it was really life changing not only for me but for alot of other youths!

the hike was the highlight of the camp on day 2. and i got my green Adidas shoe really muddy. hahah! (heart pain) and it was my very first hike and had FUNNNNNN! many many many many many many many lessons learnt yesterday during the hike. yup. and was "gay-ing" around with "ASAP"! hahah and "ng" got super grossed! hahaha! well, i really loved my group 'cause i thought they would complain an everything. but NO....... they completed the hike and no MAJOR complaints lah! HAHAHA! and i really love their enthusiasm and perseverance. press on guys! and i kena poke by thorns lah! and the root of the thorn got stuck in my skin and got it removed yesterday. if i didn't i think i would have died la. 'cause i think my hand might get infected and it might rot! hehh. thank God i went to the clinic to get it removed! and i tell you ahhhhh... i got 2 injections and a minor surgery! haha! the doctor took out a huge blade and started cutting my skin! hahahaha! i was super scared la. haha! hurr. den blood came out like nobodys business. hahahahahaha! hurrr. okie i may sound like a sissy lah. but if you were me, i think you would be super scared too lah! hahaha! and we had PIZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZA for dinner!!!!!! wooots!

hmm, learnt alooooooooooooooooooooooooooot of things in just 2 days. ALOT i tell you. can't wait to see them in WEB. really. :) today is my day of Sabbath. AMOS is sec 3, Chris is sec 2, i CANNOT differentiate Hannah and Eunice, Jerome is in TMS, Zephy has an elder brother with a COOL name (HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!) and alot more. HAHAHA! :) hurr... i think i'll use up my remaining november holidays to catch up with my old friends. haha! yupp.

saturdays are always filled with joy! yeah! (unless if there's resistance training in the morning and weights training in the noon. haha!) well, always looking forward to WEB. one reason. GOD. :) this week passed so fast. real fast. faster than the speed of light. hehh. anyways, byebye N-levels! yay! and hello miserable results! boo!

uhh, yeah. QT was great throughout the week and yeah, hearing God. :) woots! 1 samuel 3. the story where God calls samuel and samuel had no idea who God is. yeah! learned afew stuff through this short but great story. which brings me to this word, "faith". faith is something that no one can buy nor can it be given away. faith is not about just knowing and trusting, it is ALL about knowing and trusting. i may sound abit wierd at this point of time but i just have to share what i think. heehee. yeaps. and faith is not something that comes out from the mouth only. it comes out from the heart, the mind, well, in fact, faith is about the whole body and Him! yes. Him! :) in everything that we do in our everyday life, trust Him and do it His way. and if it's difficult, just do your best! yeah! haha. don't let the physical things take over your clouded mind. cos if it does, you'll seriously be dead. heh. okie. uhh, yea. that's just something i wanna share. :)

so proud of my sis for getting SPECIAL MENSION for the ACJC honours' night. WOOOTS! jia you jie! hmm, really happy to be there! and it was H.I.LARIOUS mann. was there with my mom. and I didn't expect that there would be worship at the start. well, there was. --. i was worried la. MY MOM WAS BESIDE ME AND in a few mins, she'll be joining the worship. HAHA! well, she didn't really sing la. but she stood and i sang. hehh, funny la! :D

anyways, today was reallyreally SIAO LIAO day! in the morning, i came to class, started singing and my voice broke the silence of the morning. sang some random song and i think the other classes could hear my voice. haha! well, who cares! :P lessons went on normally. until A-MATHS! i went NUTTTTS! i suddenly forgot how to do matrices! i was soooo stressed... and i went from sya-here to sya-going-nuts-everywhere! like, i sqat (past tense of squat [haha]) down and shook my head. i really didn't know why i was doing that. and i couldn't stop laughing! i was the only one laughing in class. hurr felt so stupid. THEN!!! thenthen... i had a rash attack... like, when i'm stressed, i'll have "stress-rash". yuppps! i know it sounds crazy... but i am serious! i was scratching like nobodys business! HAHA! hmm, yeah.

besides acting crazy, i have alot of work to do. and EXAMS IS 10 DAYS... O NOOO! 9 DAYS AWAY! o mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!! i am going to die la! anyways, came across psalm 34 today from the booklet from the ACJC honours' night...

wooots! new skin... no green anymore. but i still like green... orange and yellow is nice! hahah! wooots... E-math paper 1 and 2 were killer papers! they are like spikes and everytime you try to do a question, it jabs you in the heart! heh.. but, paper 1 was quite OK though. managed to do some of the questions but i tell you... 2 hours is NOT enough for me. yes i am super slow! haha. what to do mann! and i "shat" (past tense of shit. aka shitted) during paper 2 lah! like, the questions were hurting my eyes! haha! i couldn't understand most of the questions. hurr. but luckily it's just prelims!!! :D Thank GOD! if not, i won't be alive right now.

hmm, really enjoyed myself in school this week. like, the class seem to have this strong bond. yeah! well, not the whole class. but atleast everyone has a clique! :) haha! but, im neutral im OK with anyone... AM I? haha! haiyooooo!! but some people in class (2 person) really gets into my nerves! 1 of them is a complacent pig and the 2nd one has an irritating itchy mouth! haha! but all i can do is just to ignore them. DO I? well i try too.. but sometimes they are just too much! hehh. and again the thought crosses my mind, W.W.J.D? haha! hmm. yeah! what would He do if He faces this kind of people... wah! shacked! spent the day cleaning the house... well, my table only. hehh. with a tissue stuck up my nose!

found alot of crap!!! and i mean real crap! from lizards and roaches! (wonder why) haha! and i think 30% of the things on my table doesn't belong to me, 25% crap, 15% dust and the rest of the 30% are my books! hehh...

finished cleaning about 5:45. didn't know what to do and took out my "memory file". well, it's filled with certs since 1993, birthday cards, letters, pitures, lyrics, drama scripts and a dried up flower. HAHA! re-arranged everything. still messy but still great memories. saw my old scripts. hilarious! remembered the time when i was in primary 5, i acted in a skit about crime prevention. could still remember my lines! haha! can't find my BATB script though. oooooo... and my choir songs!!! AHHH!! haha! so exciting. i miss singing in a choir ensemble! hehh... THE GOSSLING! haha! ... ok nevermind. -.-

tought of giving number six something. wonder when i can meet him. still have yet to give him and kor the slippers i bought them and dory's stuff. haha! it's been like a month already... HAHA!

had no school today. YAY! but woke up super-duper late (i think) 12 noon!!! o mann... well, woke up at 2pm before lah... alot of years ago! haha! 1st time after many years i wake up so late! :D

anyways, planned to study GEOG for tomorrows prelims. hmmm, CANNOT LA! i opened my book then read afew words... then closed and opened up my laptop and went online. I was alone online lah... MAN, NO SCHOOL SUCKS! there was absolutly nothing... NOTHING to do at home! no breakfast also... ARGHHHHH!!! I was so bored...

until...

I DINDN'T KNOW MY LAPTOP COULD RECORD VOICE... HAHAHA!!! well, I recorded my singing... hehh... AND ITS SUPER CLEAR!!! HAHAH! (well, the sining only la... but the background guitar very muffled.) hehh... 5 hours passed just like that... then suddenly I remembered GEOGRAPHY PAPER TML!!!! like... blarrrrdy #$^$%*!

reached school very late today cause the queue for the bus to school was super long today! but was still on time. met up with my coincil mates and wheeeeeeet! got my 'haivannas' slippers! yay! umm anyways, wasn't at all ready to sit for my malay papers today. aha! malay papers. spent 25% of the time blowing my nose and the whole class got irritated and couldn't concentrate. sorry. wot to do? blowing softly wouldn't help wot! (random: blowing your nose sounds funny. wot, your nose is some kind of a candle? hah! is there a word for blowing your nose? here's wot I'm picturing)...

paper 2 was quite difficult for me la! I had to translate each and every word to really understand the comprehension [kefahaman].. (get it? understand the 'comprehend'sion? HAHA!) grrr... waste alot of time. but in the end it was worth it! I did actually finish before the time was up. HAHA!

hmm, after the papers, my class took a class photo. I really don't know for what. SO RANDOM!

I was on my way to Tangs for some meeting. very confident that I could make it on time. haha. but no! I was late and the 'meeting' couldn't go on without ME. yeah! so had to cancel it. haha! so I made my way to Orchard MRT station and a lady approaced me...

I was approached once before at the same place. and I (himbo-ly) went for the so called 'interview'. it was some crappy stuff lah! like, you wait for 45minutes for your turn and when you go in, you will sit down and fill up a form and talk for 10minutes! like WHAT THE! I was cheated. I learnt my lesson and that's why I didn't regreat my decision! :D HAHA! (did I?) hmmm, anyways, met my old friend from YMCA! wooots... it's been a loooong time (8months) we talked. hehh... yupps. really glad to meet him and also his friend that I just met.

I WAS STANDING AT THE WRONG SIDE OF THE QUEUE!!! HAHAHA... mann... so malu! :( well, they made it worst by saying it in malay and thinking that I don't understand. hurrr... then, they went on babbling about stuff. and I finally ordered. luckily there were no one else queing. HAHA! well, didn't wanna hear wot they were talking about la. quite rude. haha! but quite frustrating sometimes when people think you don't understand THEIR language and they use THEIR language to mock people. :( hehh...

well, after that I met Grace to pass her the kinder buenos we got for performing for National Day! but met Galv just now for a little chat and he took my share! :( haha! no lah... kor: take it... you are saving my life. YAR! hmmm took bus home and was reflecting on wot happened today. well, I'm really really really thankful that this is happening to me now! :D (except for the queuing up thingy... mann... I thought my fever's gone. but no!

was feeling ok this morning. went to Woodlands Library to study, with Chong Wee, Chu Yi and Shawn. well, I thought Chu Yi would be there. yuppps... she pang say-ed me. I was like a lamp-post there la! mannn... arghh... anyways, studied at the 2nd floor where it was super quiet! mann... like, graveyard la! hurr... quietness triggers my headache. and that's when my fever came back cause it was too quiet and cold. arghh... and was dying lah... my head was spinning once more. I couldn't take it and I went home. hehh... managed to study quite a bit though! hmmm yuppps... :)

everybody's falling sick nowadays. Sarah's sick... I'm sick... the people going to the doctor's sick... HOW LIKE THAT? haha! hmmm... will just pray to you guys out there who are sick too! :D haha...

hurr... title tells it all! hmm... woke up today at 8am. drank milo. then slept again until 11am. after that took a warm shower and tried to do work but my head was spinning and i slept until 2:07pm. HAHA! o mann... I was supposed to meet Galvs to talk. yupps. was late again.. (sorry kor) argh. I was a walking christmas tree today. dressed up in green and red... seriously, my shoes were red and green too! hehh. :D then yada-yada was sniffing all the way. and man was I feeling cold. (but my hot-ness made my body temperature just nice. HAHA!) no, seriously. was feeling really cold! and my jacket was red! HAHA! umm, ya lo. went to get some stuff with Galv, and then ate dinner at bt. timah market. umm, took 970 back to bt. timah and u know 'tibs' buses they have seats that are facing the back. man, I hate to sit at that kind of seats and well, there wasn't space at the back of the bus so we sat there. hmmm, Galvs didn't know that I didn't like to sit there. I didn't tell him also. hehh... I thought it was going to be a short trip... but no! it was about 20 minutes. HAHA! half way through the journey, I was on the verge of puking. I didn't lah if not tiu lian. so malu vomit in the bus. hehh... was tahaning for the rest of the journey. when we reached, we sat down at the market and... we ate pasta... didn't actually know what I was eating hehh... but it's cheap and nice lah! mann... must go there and eat again... wooots! HAHA!!! then umm, well, that's about it. oh yeah and I brought greeeeeeen grapes and greeeeeeeen mangoes. HEHHH!!! wooots... GREEEEEEEEEEEN ROCKS! :D

whoa! glad today's over! had to lead the school in community sining with Grace. at 1st I thought nobody will join us in the singing. but in the end the whole school joined in the fun! whooots. man, I love to see the whole school doing the "BP cheer". that's what I call school spirit. would also like to congratulate the classes who won the cheering competition. :)

next, I would like to thank MORITZA and AMIRUL for being such great emcees and GRACE for being a great singer! wooots! and to the other BPians! for being BPians!!! wooooooots! :D and thank you to the teachers who organised the event and my fellow councillors who were running all over the school! wooots!!!

my legs were still in pain and I couldn't stop coughing. anyways, it was worth it. :D

really enjoyed myself today :D. even after school. hehh... went bowling with kor, liu-di and er-mei! hehh... 1st time I lost like big time la! hurr... anyways, had a great time... yuppps! :D

was late for school today. HAHA!!! reached school at 1pm and my class was having mother tongue lesson. went into malay class and the 1st thing I received from my malay teacher was homework.. hurrr....... rehersals started at 1:10... ate my 'lunner'(lunch+dinner) 1st and then went to hall for rehersals. ahh, going to the hall brings back memories...

the back stage was filled with thick dust bunnies; I couldn't stop sniffing and sneezing. argh! then, my voice was super nasal! I sounded like a constipated Taufik Batisah! hehh... sorry:P

well, actually, the rehersal was quite time wasting. can practice singing at home wot. hehh... anyways, looking at the band brings back memories. hmmm....... i miss band!

today was very nostalgic for me. I miss alot of people, I miss the fun the casts, the crews and directors had in the hall, and i miss playing my toms. hehh...

feel very sick right now. don't feel like studying. but my prelims are like in 6 days time.. my goshh... o wells, it's better to rest now than to suffer later. hehh... :D

FRIDAY 04082006: sorry kor for making you wait. hehh! anyways, thank you kor and joash for taking time off to be with me before I make my way to KL, and to celebrate my birthday! :D woots! and gosh... didn't expect 6 to come la 'cause he told kor that he couldn't make it. THANKS JO! and THANKS KOR FOR NOT TELLING ME THAT JO'S COMING! hehh... really happy when he tapped me from the back and wished me happy birthday. I really enjoyed the mini-celebration. Was crying in the bus la.. hehh... AHA! the bus trip to KL.. YES.. bus trip not train... BUS!!! oh $#@^% they changed plans without informing me lah! the last information I got was that we were supposed to go KL by train... then on that day, they asked me to go to the bus station opposite 'Singapore casket'. I thought it was some kind of a prank. But no... (thank God) ... we were actually taking bus to KL! mann... was super-duperly pissed.

hmmm, anyways I thought it was going to be a boring trip. but thank You once again for blessing the trip. met this guy who I never met before in rowing, but he claims that he saw me in my rowing centre before. loooooooong story... haha! yupps... so I wasn't alone in the bus.

SATURDAY 05082006: reached KL at 1am. uber sleepy. was wondering why there were so many m'sians still up at this hour. erm, nothing much happened after that. went to our hotel (which is like damn budget) and had only 4 hours of sleep. Woke up at 6am by an irritating alarm from MIMI! hurrr... then -yada-yada- ate breakfast and made our way to PUTRAJAYA for competition. yupps!

took part in the men's coxless fours, (which I have never ever in my whole entire life took part before) and we got 2nd! woots. but that was only the heats-.-" . made our way to repercharge and after getting 1st in the repercharge, we got into the finals, which was held on sunday. WHOA! after the 2 races, on saturday, I have a hell-lot of blisters on my left hand! like, pain lah! after the heats, I caught cramps and I tore the muscles on my right leg. could still walk but was really very painful. after the second race, it became worse. hurr... prayed for healing. :D

after the day ended, the team went back to the hotel and then went for dinner at kenny rogers! finally, i got my spaghetti! but it tasted super wierd. anyways, it have been a 'tradition' to go to petaling street when you are in KL to do your shopping and yes I did alot of shopping! bought 2 adidas shoes for only RM130, a quicksilver board shorts for RM45 and a quicksilver jacket for chong wee for only RM60... like... MANNN!!! cheap lah! Didn't manage to find 'bang! cards' for kor, quicksilver pencilcase for Rasyid and flip-flops for Lala. but a promise is a promise. will find ways to find them. :D

SUNDAY 06082006: FINALS for M4-(men's coxless fours). despite the torn ligament, blistered hand and the stupid headache I got during the trip in the van, I pulled myself together and raced. thank God for giving me the strength. we were confident of getting 1st. but, didn't expect the Sri Lanka team to be that good. in the end, we came in third. I was quite dissappointed with myself 'cause I didn't put my 100% 'cause of the injury. hurr... it's over la ha...

no medals were given out. but received computer speakers! wooots! don't really need them but, wooots!!!HAHA!

after the race, my blisters were bleeding, I had difficulty walking, and I was really shacked! hurrr... was asking myself, why in the world I put myself in this kind of shit. hehh... I am darker than usual, and mann my legs hurt. BOTH legs! the way I walk is very awkward lah!

went back to hotel to pack up and checked out. made our way to puduraya to buy bus tickets back to Singapore. the earliest was 7:30pm... o wells, looks like me and Ivan's gonna miss F.O.P! hurr... next year I'll be there! while we wait, we went to A&W!!! woots... wanted to eat the waffles but damn it's sold out. did a bit of revision. woots! REVISION! 1 more week to prelims! tsktsktsk...

nothing much happened from 7:30 onwards. just freaked 'cause there were alot... ALOT of bugs in the bus!!!

reached Singapore at around 12:59am and thank you SHUYING for the ride back home. :D reached home around 1:30am. and my legs felt like shit. wait, my whole body felt like shit. was aching all over!

MONDAY 07082006: Skipped lessons. hehh... was too tired to wake up in the morning. but I still have to go to school 'cause there's NDP rehersals! hurrr... it's 11:42am now and I am still half awake... hehh... and my legs still hurts so bad! ARGH!!! can't walk la.

well, that's wot happened for the past 3 days... miss alot of people... hehh... can't wait to go to school! :D and I really can't walk now... HOW?

this post is super random but yeah... i love 1A, 2A, 3A and 4A...it's been 4 years being together. although there are people in class who i don't like... but without these irritating, noisy, annoying bunch of people, our class will be filled with super nerds. (there are some actually. heh.) well, that's good in some ways but, without them, there won't be troubles and without troubles, there will be no problems and without problems, we wouldn't bond this much... and this much is ALOT! whooo!!! really am proud to be in 4A! :)
